August 19, 2003 - Blenders are available with single- or double-ribbon or paddle agitators, all of which are offered with scraped surface. With capacities of 25–5,000 gal, products include insulated heating/cooling jackets that utilize operating pressures up to 150 psig. Jacketed blenders are provided with 1½ in. of fiberglass insulation and T-304 stainless steel sheath. Product contact parts are available in T-304, T-316, and L-grade stainless steel as well as nickel alloys.

Horizontal Blenders

Process Systems and Equipment, a Division of Lee Industries, Inc., Philipsburg, PA, now offers Horizontal Blenders from 25 to 5,000 gallons with a wide choice of agitator styles - single-/double-ribbon, or paddle - all available with scraped surface. New, high-efficiency insulated heating and/or cooling jackets, which utilize operating pressures up to 150 PSIG, are optional for all units. Jacketed blenders are provided with 1-1/2" of fiberglass insulation and a T-304 stainless steel sheath. Product contact parts are available in T-304, T-316, and L-grade stainless steel as well as other nickel alloys. Although a #4 finish is standard, a wide range of finishes are available, from mill through the super Lee #7 (6-12 Ra finish) and electropolish. Stainless steel legs and cover are standard, but the units can be suspended or trunnion mounted. These vessels can be designed for both integral pressure and vacuum use.
