Horizontal Bead Milling System has high-efficiency design.
May 11, 2012 -
Using disc/rod design for optimal grinding efficiency, DMQX(TM) can produce materials in single micron and even nanometer range using circulation grinding. Benefits include ability to continuously monitor slurry, add ingredients to premix tank at any time during grinding cycle, and precisely control temperature. Operating in circulation or continuous mode, mill features cartridge-type double mechanical seal, adjustable product discharge openings, and heavy-duty media separator.

Union Process Introduces DMQX(TM) Bead Mill
Akron, OH. . .Union Process, Inc., known globally as a leading manufacturer of size reduction and dispersing equipment for a broad range of industrial applications, has launched the DMQX(TM) Horizontal Bead Milling System.
The DMQX(TM) mill features an enhanced disc/rod design that significantly improves grinding efficiency. The new design dramatically increases milling effectiveness resulting in shorter milling time and lower shaft speeds. The result is less wear on seal faces and other wear parts, which in turn results in significant cost savings.
The unique design of the mill allows for a fast and efficient solution for producing materials in the single micron and even nanometer range, all with the cost-effective advantages of circulation grinding.
Union Process President Arno Szegvari noted, "Union Process was the first company to develop and patent the concept of circulation grinding back in the 1970s. Today, we are bringing that same expertise to bead mills as part of our ongoing effort to bring innovation to the size reduction industry."
