New Mitutoyo IP67 Digimatic Hook Style Depth Gage Also Measures Thickness
(Aurora, IL) When an application requires measurement of the depth of a recess as well as the thickness of projected features within the recess, the new IP67-rated Digimatic Hook Style Depth Gage from Mitutoyo America Corporation has the flexibility for the job. The new Mitutoyo Hook Style Depth Gage features a unique "hook" positioned perpendicular to the end of its main scale. This integral hook enables the depth gage jaws to securely affix to (and not work loose from) lips or other projections within holes or recesses ensuring reliable measurement of like features.
The new Hook Style Depth Gage's Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 67 provides dust proof, chip proof, coolant proof protection promoting its .0005"/0.01mm resolution and ±.0015" accuracy at a depth range of .4" - 8.4"/10mm - 210mm (hook range 8"/200mm). The Depth Gage features an Absolute® linear encoded measuring scale able to track origin point, once set, for the life of the battery - three years under normal use. Stainless steel construction with hardened and micro-lapped measuring faces. Mounting holes are in base, wider extension bases are available.
