UltraGuard-3 holograms are designed to meet level 4 security aspects of Federal Information Processing Standards FIPS140-1 and FIPS140-2, which mandate use of unique serial number, anticounterfeit feature, as well as tamper-evident feature. High-performance products are also suited for use with difficult surfaces for security labels, such as low energy plastics, textured surfaces, CARC paint, and powder-coated paint.

Hologram Labels for FIPS Applications Include New Tamper Evident Feature
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - NovaVision Inc. today announces that its new UltraGuard-3 holograms have been improved to include a more robust and sensitive tamper evident feature.
The UltraGuard-3 hologram labels are designed to meet the security aspects (level 4) of the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS140-1, FIPS140-2), which require all of the following:
A unique serial number
An anti-counterfeit feature
A tamper evident feature
These high performance holograms are also compatible for use with the most difficult surfaces for security labels, such as low energy plastics, textured surfaces, CARC paint, and powder-coated paint.
UltraGuard-3 holograms are available in stock and custom formats.
