Hollow Rotor Shaft Linear Actuators suits heavier loads.
June 14, 2010 -
Available with strokes length from 2.36-3.94 in., DRL series allows for size reduction in driver and linear actuator while improving linear motion accuracy. Features include large bore bearings for handling direct thrust loads and optional lead screw combinations with guide or no guide. Respectively, ground and rolled screw repeatable positioning accuracies are rated at 0.0002 and 0.00079 in., and resolutions are available from 1-250th of basic resolution of actuator.

DRL Series from Oriental Motor Allows for Size Reduction
Improved series is ideal for heavier load.
Torrance, CA - Oriental Motor USA is pleased to announce the improved DRL series. The DRL series allows for size reduction in both the driver and linear actuator while improving the accuracy of the linear motion.
The DRL line of linear actuators is unique in the marketplace with its hollow rotor shaft, large bore bearings for handling direct thrust loads and optional lead screw combinations with guide or no guide. Significantly different than a standard step motor with a lead screw, the DRL line of linear actuators is ideal for heavier loads, where repeatable accuracy and durability is critical. This series is now available with longer stroke lengths.
The DRL line of linear actuators offers:
High repeatable positioning accuracy
- Ground Screw: + 0.005mm (0.0002 in)
- Rolled Screw: + 0.02mm (0.00079 in)
The option of a high resolution motor for improved positioning accuracy (1,000 steps per rev)
Resolutions on the system are now available from 1 to 250th of the basic resolution of the actuator.
