Columbus McKinnon Introduces Series 653 Lever Hoist Ideally Suited for Both Construction and Industrial Applications
Amherst, New York, March 10, 2002 - Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CM) (Nasdaq:CMCO), the leading manufacturer of hoist and chain products in North America, today announced the introduction of its new lever-operated hoist, the Series 653. CM's Series 653 hoist line offers lifting capability from 3/4 to 3 tons (750 to 3000 kilograms) and a standard lift from 5 to 20 feet (1.5 to 6 meters). Developed by a global cross-functional team from CM's engineering, marketing and manufacturing groups, the Series 653 carries a 5-year warranty and is available through CM's network of standard stocking hand chain and full line independent hoist distributors.
