March 20, 2013 - Providing 12,500 lumens at 135 W, Aleddra Star Highbay features CRI greater than 70 and power factor of greater than 0.9. Unit combines CREE XTE LED chips and Philips Xitanium universal power supply to deliver more than 50,000 hours of life. Rapid heat dissipation coating on heat sink further prolongs lifetime of lamp. Engineered to meet dust and water protection level greater than IP65, luminaire can be safely used for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Building on success of LED T8 high bay, company's latest design provides long-living, low-maintenance lighting solution

RENTON, Wash., -- Aleddra LED Lighting, a business unit of Lightel Technologies, Inc., today announces its high-performance Star Highbay LED luminaire is available in the North American market as an energy-efficient solution for high bay lighting application.

With an efficacy of 90 lumens per watt, Aleddra Star Highbay at 135W provides 12,500 lumens and far exceeds the lighting requirements of industry standards. It comes with CRI>70 and a Power Factor > 0.9. By using top-of-the-line components such as CREE XTE LED chips and Philips Xitanium universal power supply, Aleddra Star Highbay is rated for more than 50,000 hours and backed by 5-year warranty. A rapid heat dissipation coating on the heat sink further prolongs the lifetime of the lamp. The combined benefit of Aleddra Star Highbay features is to greatly reduce the energy consumption and the maintenance cost for our customers, resulting in a quicker project payback period.

Additionally, the Aleddra Star Highbay fixture is engineered to meet dust and water protection level greater than IP65 so it can be safely used for both indoor and outdoor environments.
