Composed of glass fabric with epoxy resin system, RT130X is designed for electrical and mechanical strength as well as flame resistance. Extra fine weave glass substrate allows for cleaner machining with less exposed fiber. Standard lengths are 18 and 36 in. IDs range from 0.094-48 in., ODs range from 0.156-49.50 in., and wall thickness ranges from 0.031-0.750 in. Tubing complies with NEMA FR-4 and is flame resistant to a UL94 V-O rating.

Norplex-Micarta Announces RT130X Tubing
POSTVILLE, IA - Norplex-Micarta, the leading manufacturer of high performance thermoset composites, introduces RT130X, high strength tubing composed of a glass fabric with an epoxy resin system.
RT130X is designed for high electrical and mechanical strength as well as flame resistance. Because of the extra fine weave glass substrate used, RT130X has excellent machining characteristics, allowing for cleaner machining (less exposed fiber). Typical uses for RT130X include timing wheels, light duty gears, laser housing and many other applications that require parts to be fabricated from a flame retardant glass tube.
RT130X can be manufactured in standard lengths of 18" and 36" (457mm - 914mm) with inside diameters ranging from 0.094" - 48" (2.39mm - 1,219mm), outside diameters ranging from 0.156" - 49.50" (3.96mm - 1,257mm) and wall thickness ranging from 0.031" - 0.750" (0.787mm - 19mm). RT130X complies with NEMA FR-4 and is flame resistant to a UL94 V-O rating.
