New POP® HS (High Strength) Rivets
Continually expanding the array of innovative fastening solutions, Emhart Teknologies introduces the new line of POP® brand HS (High Strength) blind rivets. These structural rivets are targeted toward applications requiring exceptional tensile and shear strength. This product line is available in a range of ¼" (6.4mm) diameter domed head steel and aluminum materials.
"The new HS rivets boast a proprietary rivet design that provides not only positive mandrel head retention but also assures excellent rattle and vibration resistance. This is particularly critical to the transportation industry where NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) is a requirement", says Ryan Carter, Product Manager.
Additional HS rivet performance benefits include:
o Increased blind side expansion
o Consistent clamp force
o Accommodates oversized holes
o Compliant with ISO, QS, TS and RoHS
POP® recommends you use the newest product in the ProSet® family of installation tools, the ProSet® 3400.
