Aremco-Bond(TM) 2200 glass-fiber and Kevlar reinforced epoxy-novolac compound is suited for bonding ceramic and metal wear plates used to insulate chutes, ducts, and centrifuges, and repairing defects in corroded linings and stacks to 400°F. Tensile shear strength is 2,400 psi and flexural strength is 13,400 psi, and product is resistant to acids, alkalis, organic fluids, and salts. Electrical insulating properties include dielectric strength of 460 V/mil and volume resistivity of 1.0 x 1015.

SUMMARY
Aremco-Bond(TM) 2200, a new high strength, glass-fiber and Kevlar reinforced epoxy-novolac compound produced by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for bonding ceramic and metal wear plates and repairing defects in corroded linings and stacks to 400°F.
FEATURES
Aremco-Bond(TM) 2200 is a high strength, glass-fiber and Kevlar reinforced epoxy-novolac compound that provides excellent abrasion, corrosion and impact resistance, and is ideal for bonding ceramic and metal wear plates used to insulate chutes, ducts, and centrifuges, and repairing defects in corroded linings and stacks to 400°F.
Aremco-Bond(TM)2200 provides high tensile shear strength of 2,400 psi and flexural strength of 13,400 psi, and exceptional chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, organic fluids, and salts. Electrical insulating properties include a dielectric strength of 460-volts/mil and volume resistivity of 1.0 x 1015.
Aremco-Bond(TM)2200 is a rust-brown pigmented, 100% solids epoxy that is mixed in a 1-to-1 ratio of resin to hardener by weight. Curing occurs at room temperature in 24-48 hours or can be accelerated by heating to 175 oF for 4 hours. Cured product is machinable and exhibits a linear shrinkage of .009 in/in and Shore-D hardness of 86.
Aremco-Bond(TM)2200 can also be used to bond a wide variety of metals, glass, and plastic substrates. It is supplied in easy to mix pint, quart and gallon kits.
