New EMCON® TEMPEST Printers Now Available from API Technologies

ORLANDO, FL -- API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) ("API" or the "Company"), a trusted provider of RF/microwave, microelectronics, and security solutions for critical and high-reliability applications, today announced that their Secure Systems and Information Assurance (SSIA) business group has developed a series of new EMCON® TEMPEST printers. These printers include color and black/white workgroup laser printers, a color inkjet printer/scanner multifunction device, and a mobile thermal inkjet printing solution.

These printers, along with the full line of EMCON TEMPEST and secure government products, will be on display at CANSEC 2013 (Booth #1505) which takes place May 29-30 at the Ernst & Young Center in Ottawa, Canada.

Based on the popular HP M451dn color workgroup printer, the EMCON TEMPEST version is available to meet TEMPEST Level I and Zone requirements. This easy-to-use networked laser printer is fast (up to 21 pages per minute) and features professional-quality color documents and duplex printing.

TEMPEST Level I Brother™ Color Inkjet Multifunction Printer/Scanner
The TEMPEST version of Brother's MFC-J4510DN inkjet all-in-one printer/scanner has a small footprint and can accommodate standard paper sizes up to 11 x 17 inches. It is super-fast with paper speeds as high as 33 pages per minute for black and 25 pages per minute for color. It is available to meet TEMPEST Level 1 requirements only.

TEMPEST Level I HP Officejet Mobile Printer
The HP Officejet is a high-quality, thermal inkjet printer that prints at up to 22 pages per minute in black and up to 19 pages in color.
