New High Speed Data Acquisition System from CAS DataLoggers
Delphin LogMessage LM9000 with 1200 Hz Sampling Rate
CHESTERLAND OH–Equipment monitoring applications such as fracture monitoring and viewing pressure spikes often require extremely fast pressure and force measurements to view changes taking place in fractions of a second. Now CAS DataLoggers and Delphin Technology offer the ideal data acquisition solution with the new LogMessage 9000, equipped with 20 analog inputs and a high-speed sampling rate of up to 1200 measurements per second. The inputs can be used for data acquisition from mV, mA signals or any type of thermocouple. The most advanced model in the series and an excellent value for the cost, this new datalogger features a 1200 Hz sampling rate for handling the most demanding applications including trial and product testing, GPS logging, service measurements and troubleshooting, and many more.
The new LM9000 is a universal, stand-alone operating device for acquiring, monitoring, calculating and logging measurement data. The data logger is housed in an industrial-grade enclosure and equipped with a 3.5GB local memory for logging up to 250 million measurement values, and its 1200 Hz sampling rate enables nearly any high-speed application. Communications options include serial interfaces, Modbus RTU and TCP, and the system also features a LAN interface for configuration and data transfer and versatile internal arithmetic and logic channels. The data logger also has an internal 3.5GB memory enabling data storage for up to 128 million samples.
The LogMessage's 20 analog inputs feature precision 24-bit resolution and are differentially and galavanically isolated from each other as well as from the power supply, so earth loops and non-isolated sensors are no problem. All analog inputs can be used universally and are capable of measuring any type of thermocouple, RTD, voltage or current signal. Channel configuration takes place via the easy to use DataService Configurator software included free with delivery. 2 analog outputs and 2 digital outputs are also standard.
LogMessage series DAQ devices offer users an intuitive configuration and offers extensive possibilities without requiring support from a PC. Configuration and data readout take place via a network interface. The data logger’s two serial ports enable connection of a modem for remote access, or for other hardware to be connected for data transfer purposes. Alarm notifications and text messages can also be transmitted using a GSM modem.
Additionally, LogMessage devices are supplied with FREE ProfiSignal Go software so users can start their projects without delay. ProfiSignal Go is a powerful PC software for online and offline monitoring and analysis of measurement data. Just three simple steps are required to display measurement data as trends, to analyze the data, and to evaluate offline data. Users working with other measurement technology software can utilize the full-service package which includes LabVIEW™ and DASYLab™ drivers, Modbus TCP and OPC Server. In combination with ProfiSignal Go, the integrated DataService software provides many alarm management and monitoring functions. Users can also opt for ProfiSignal Basic software for process visualization and monitoring and ProfiSignal Klicks software for the automation of process and measurement procedures. Furthermore, by operating the LogMessage device within a network, users can transmit measurement data online for processing using ProfiSignal Go.
