April 7, 2010 - SPEX CertiPrep Pure and Ultra Pure Fusion Fluxes and additives have Micro Bead composition that eliminates dust that can clog instruments. Beads also lower weighing times and, with each bead having same ratio of components, improve consistency. Products are also prefused with additives for accuracy and all batches are manufactured identical to one another, with no lot-to-lot variation.

SPEX CertiPrep Announces New Line of Fusion Flux Products


SPEX CertiPrep has developed a new line of Pure and Ultra Pure Fusion Fluxes and additives. Besides their high purity (the ultra pure line being the purest on the market at 99.998%), another major benefit of the new SPEX CertiPrep Fluxes are their "Micro Bead" composition. The benefit of the bead over its "fluffy" predecessor is that it eliminates the harmful dust that can clog your instruments. The beads also help cut down on weighing times and improve consistency, with each bead having the exact same ratio of components. In an industry where consistency means everything, it is extremely important for the ratio to be uniform throughout the entire sample.
