Available 2:1 wide input ranges include 4.5-9, 9-18, 18-36, and 36-75 Vdc, while ultra-wide 4:1 input ranges cover 4.5-18, 9-36, and 18-75 Vdc. All products feature regulated single or dual outputs ranging from 5-15 Vdc, 1,500 Vdc isolation, 80-84% typ efficiency, and cUL60950-1 safety approvals.

High Density 2W & 3W DC-DC Converters with Remote On/Off Control


PowerGate LLC announces the release of the Traco power TDR Series of high-density DC-DC Converters measuring only 0.74 x 0.50 x 0.35" with remote on/off capability.

The TDR Series consists of 8 families of converters offering a choice between: 2 or 3 watts of power; 2:1 Wide Input Range (4.5-9 / 9-18 / 18-36 / 36-75VDC) or Ultra-Wide 4:1 Input Range (4.5-18 / 9-36 / 18-75VDC); and SMD or DIP packages. All products feature: tightly regulated single or dual outputs ranging from 5-15 VDC; 1500 VDC isolation; -40 to +85C Operating temperature; 80-84% efficiency range (typical); Remote on/off control; and cUL60950-1 safety approvals. The small size, high efficiency, and Remote on/off capability make these converters ideal for designers looking to implement energy conservation schemes.
