Utilizing metal foil strain gage technology, Model LCA700 features 17-4PH stainless steel construction and offers 1 million lb capacity. Canister/column type unit has raised spherical surface to minimize possibility of off-center loading, and comes equipped with removable handle for carrying. Load cell is suited for truck scale weighing, setting up rolling loads at steel mills, and monitoring bridge static, dynamic, and earthquake induced loads.

FUTEK Introduces its Canister/Column Type High Capacity Load Cell with USB Output Option
FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology, Inc. (FUTEK) is now offering its LCA700 High Capacity Load Cell with a USB output option. Since the 4th quarter of 2008, FUTEK Engineering Labs have been offering USB Output option on select models. The LCA700 is now part of the FUTEK USB Sensor Solution series in the high capacity range. Utilizing metal foil strain gage technology, the LCA700 17-4PH Stainless Steel in 500,000 lbs to 1 million lbs, has a raised Spherical surface to lower the possibility of off center loading, and comes equipped with a handle for easy carrying.
FUTEK's Canister (LCA) Series are manufactured in US, and similar to our entire Load Cell product line, use metal foil strain gauge technology. For a lower capacity of this style please refer to LCA300 series.
High capacity load cells are used in a wide variety of applications and industries. Monitoring bridge static, dynamic and earthquake induced loads, setting up rolling loads at steel mills, monitoring foundation loads at power plants, and truck scale weighing are a few examples of high capacity load cell applications.
