ioimage Releases 3-Megapixel Intelligent IP Security Camera with Built-In Video Analytics

High-Resolution IP Camera With Video Analytics Features Unique Picture-In-Picture Functionality for Synchronized Tracked-Object Close-Up With Full Field of View

HERZLIYA, Israel, March 20 - ioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity, announced today the release of the ioicam mmp100dn, a 3-megapixel intelligent video camera with unique picture-in-picture (PiP) capabilities for synchronized analytics visualization. The latest addition to ioimage's ioicam line of intelligent video cameras, the mmp100dn features wide-area coverage, day/night capabilities, and electronic pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functionality. Operable under the harshest outdoor conditions, the mmp100dn is a user-friendly, cost-effective camera that enhances safety and security for government, public and commercial organizations.

Combining powerful built-in analytics, which provide a high probability of detection (PoD) and extremely low false alarm rate, with electronic PTZ functionality, the mmp100dn enables automatic detection and autonomous tracking of intruders, vehicles and other threats. With its unique picture-in-picture capabilities, the camera provides a simultaneous close-up of tracked objects while maintaining a full field of view. Adding such unique functionality to its high-resolution imaging capabilities, the mmp100dn enhances not only security coverage, but also real-time monitoring and verification.

Packaged and designed for simplicity, the all-in-one camera is a cost-effective, versatile alternative to traditional security options. With a small footprint that requires little infrastructure and installation effort, the mmp100dn is easy to deploy, use and maintain, while optimally utilizing network bandwidth. Since it functions as an electronic PTZ camera with no moving parts, the mmp100dn ensures high performance under circumstances that adversely impact traditional mechanical pan, tilt and zoom cameras. An indoor/outdoor security camera with low light capabilities for effective nighttime monitoring, the mmp100dn also operates under the harshest weather and environmental conditions.

"The mmp100dn represents ioimage's approach to intelligent video in bringing the high-resolution imaging trend to practical applications," said Roni Kass, CEO of ioimage. "By synthesizing video analytics with multi-megapixel imaging in a self-enclosed unit designed and packaged for simplicity, ioimage has successfully introduced a host of innovative intelligent video uses to a wider market."

The ioicam mmp100dn will be launched at ISCWest. ioimage will be presenting its intelligent video offerings at Booth #2139 at ISC West on March 28-30, 2007, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
