April 28, 2004 - Measuring 9 in. long with ¼ in. hex shank capacity, Model 6952 produces 0–3,100 impacts per minute, while offering access to fasten in confined spaces. Variable speed, ranging from 0–3,200 rpm allows controlled fastening, while forward/reverse switch permits single-handed operation. All-metal casing and heavy-duty hammer and anvil withstand jobsite environments. Applications include framing, deck building, installation, and drywall hanging.

New 1/4" Hex Impact Driver from Makita

November 3, 2003 - Atlanta, GA - Makita USA, Inc., manufacturer of high quality industrial power tools and accessories, has expanded its already comprehensive impact tool lineup with a new impact driver, model 6952. The 6952 has the highest torque in its class (1,062 in.lbs.) and the most efficient impacts per minute (0 - 3,100 IPM), while being extremely lightweight (2.9 lbs.) and compact. At only 9" inches long, this driver offers access, as well as power to fasten in locations where previously impossible. This powerful impact driver provides superior performance and efficiency to tradesmen demanding reliability and power in a compact design.

The new 6952 impact driver is an ideal tool for a variety of applications including framing, deck building, installation, and drywall hanging. Not only does this driver provide increased power, but also with an all-metal hammer casing and heavy-duty hammer and anvil, it is built to withstand the toughest of jobsite environments. The 6952 also features true variable speed (0-3,200 RPM) for controlled fastening. An ergonomically designed rubberized grip provides more comfort, control and reduced fatigue to the operator and the compact design allows the ability to maneuver in confined places. The Makita 6952 impact driver also features an easily accessible forward/reverse switch allowing single-handed operation and a tool hook that attaches to both sides of the driver for convenience and versatility.
