Hermetically Sealed Relays for Hazardous Locations

c3controls is excited to announce that we have expanded our general purpose relay product offering to include Hermetically Sealed Relays.

Available in octal base and miniature square base configurations-c3controls hermetically sealed relays are suitable for use in Class 1, Division 2 Group A, B, C and D hazardous locations. 2-, 3-, and 4-pole devices are available with ratings of 5A, 10A and 12A for circuit application flexibility. The hermetically sealed relays are certified in accordance with UL and CSA standards. Miniature relays are also CE marked for use and acceptance in global applications.

Both the octal and miniature square base are featured with AC and DC coils. The rated carrying current for the octal base is DPDT: 12A and 3PDT: 10A, while the current for the miniature square base is 4PDT:5A.

All c3controls hermetically sealed relays are suitable for use in Zone 2, Group IIA, IIB and IIC Hazardous Locations. Sturdiness and support comes from the hermetically sealed metal enclosure. Relays are vacuum baked and dry nitrogen filled - which removes contaminants and provides a clean and dry atmosphere for contacts.

The schematic diagram and terminal markings on each relay makes for easy reference during installation. Low coil consumption minimizes transformer and power supply requirements. All products are 100% tested to ensure performance to specifications.
