MILLHOGŪ Dictator I.D. Clamping Welding End Prep Tool is designed for dry cutting stainless steel, duplex, and other hard pipe up to 20 in. OD found in offshore facilities. Featuring tapered roller bearing drive mechanism and EscoLock blade lock system, product develops 4,000 lb-ft torque at cutter blade and pulls continuous thick chip. Unit has self-centering mandrel, uses 8 sets of clamps, and is available as pneumatically or hydraulically powered.

Heavy Wall End Prep Tool Stands up to Offshore Requirements
A new I.D. clamping welding end prep tool that is designed for the rigorous service requirements of offshore facilities where piping and weld quality are critical has been introduced by ESCO Tool of Medfield, Massachusetts.
The MILLHOGŪ Dictator I.D. Clamping Welding End Prep Tool is designed for "dry cutting" stainless steel, duplex, and other hard pipe up to 20" O.D. found in offshore facilities. Featuring a tapered roller bearing drive mechanism and the EscoLock blade lock system for rigidity, this end prep tool develops 4,000 ft.-lbs. of torque at the cutter blade and pulls a continuous thick chip without cutting lubricants.
Simple to operate, the MILLHOGŪ Dictator I.D. Clamping Welding End Prep Tool has a self-centering mandrel, uses only eight sets of clamps for the full working range of the tool, and is available either pneumatically powered or in a hydraulic version that adapts to most hydraulic power packs. The cutter blades are TiN coated and dissipate heat away from the pipe.
