Electrically Interlocked Heavy-Duty Shields
Rockford, IL - Rockford Systems has introduced a new exclusive line of electrically interlocked heavy-duty shields manufactured specifically for drill presses, milling machines, and lathe applications. The use of this one-of-a-kind line of shields goes beyond OSHA and ANSI safety requirements.
When the interlocked shields are swung out of position, the positive contacts on the safety microswitch open sending a stop signal to the machine control.
The heavy-duty arms are made of durable pressed steel and the extra-strength mounting brackets house an enclosed safety microswitch. Each safety microswitch has an enclosure rating of IP 67.
The shields are made of high impact-resistant transparent polycarbonate that provides operator protection from flying chips and coolant.
