Constructed of machined aluminum, Model RHB0-80 has one scale that reads 0-50% Brix and another that reads 50-80%. By rotating barrel of unit, scales can be shifted back and forth. Accurate to ±1.00% Brix, refractometer is suited for testing fruits, vegetables, and grasses, as well as for maintenance of CNC coolants and water soluble drawing and stamping compounds. Kit includes pipette for dropping test fluids onto prism, mini screwdriver for calibration, user's guide, and hard carrying case.

The Model RHB0-80 refractometer is great for testing of fruits, vegetables and grasses, wine or beer makers and for the maintenance of CNC coolants (soluble oils, semi-synthetics, neo-synthetics, and synthetics) and water soluble drawing and stamping compounds. The RHB0-80 refractometer is also handy for testing the sugar content of maple and other types of syrups, jellies, marmalades, jams, chutneys, ketchup, fruit juice concentrates, barbeque sauces, etc. Great for testing maple sap and for boiling it down for maple syrup production. This is a great unit for testing unknown samples! Calibrate with regular tap/distilled/reverse osmosis water!
Model RHB0-80 refractometer kit includes a pipette for dropping test fluids onto the prism (never dip the refractometer into the test fluid!), a mini screwdriver for scale calibration, user's guide and a blue foam-lined hard carrying case.
