Rexnord Launches Adapter-Mounted Ball Bearing Designed for Efficient Installation and Time and Money Savings
Milwaukee, Wis. - Rexnord is introducing the patented SHURLOK® Adaptor-Mounted Technology to its Heavy Duty Ball Bearing product line, helping improve operational efficiency and reduce installation errors.
The new Link-Belt® PA 300 Series HD SHURLOK Adapter-Mounted Ball Bearing allows for easy installation and removal; its one-piece housing unit is factory pre-lubricated with pre-set clearances. The tapered adapter sleeve assembly enables easy removal with no field assembly requirements.
The Spyglass(TM) Optical Strain Sensing Technology (OSS) reduces installation errors due to over-tightening or under-tightening. The positive locking tapered adapter sleeve assembly maintains shaft-mounting tightness.
The HD SHURLOK anti-rotation pin prevents the rotation of the outer ring in the housing due to unbalanced load or vibration.
