Integrated Heater/Sensors For Precise Thermal Control

Thermofoil(TM) heater/sensors combine the fast warm up and low mass of an etched foil heater with an RTD or thermistor temperature sensor. Kapton heater insulation allows operation to 150 deg. C and the small sensor size provides exceptionally fast response.

Standard models are available in sizes to 5 x 5 inch with resistance options to match most applications. Sensor element choices include 100 and 1000 ohm platinum RTD's and 50,000 ohm NTC thermistors. These solutions are ideal for designers who are creating thermal models or prototyping new products.

Custom design options for OEM volumes include element profiling to maintain optimum heat gradient, special sensors for unique requirements and flex-circuit connections instead of individual wires. Custom designs allow a precise fit, faster installation and reduced parts count in production quantities.
