Broadlane Introduces New Version of OnRamp(TM) Client Portal

Broadlane clients use OnRamp as the primary tool for accessing contract and product information, receiving relevant communications, accessing reports and more.
Broadlane
Broadlane's proprietary Contract Management System (CMS) was first released to clients in 2001. OnRamp was released in 2005 to provide access to relevant industry information, Broadlane news, additional applications and online reports. The new version of OnRamp released today integrates CMS with the OnRamp client portal for a seamless user experience. It also provides Broadlane the ability to index and categorize all the information, users and applications within a single, simple enterprise-wide directory.

It has more than 2.2 million catalogued products with more than 600,000 on contract. The GPO Portfolio also has enhanced search capabilities using the latest search engine technology for faster and more accurate contract, product and supplier searches. Tab browsing allows multiple searches in a single window, and contract alerts provide users with up-to-the-minute contract pricing and product updates.
Transaction Management via BroadLink®
Broadlane clients can access Broadlane's e-commerce exchange BroadLink through OnRamp. BroadLink provides access to purchase order status, back orders, shipping details and price discrepancy information in real time. Price verification alerts also provide users with configurable notifications for pricing discrepancies.
Informatics
The informatics reporting function, available within OnRamp, supplements and enhances Broadlane clients' purchasing knowledge. Clients can access reports related to contracts, capital equipment, pharmacy and other key area of spend management. Utilizing the informatics tool with BroadLink provides users detailed intelligence to reveal tactical actions to improve operational performance.
Communications
Clients can receive the latest Broadlane and industry news, vendor recalls and shortages and client-specific information. New forums enable Broadlane clients to present, discuss and share communication concerning new technologies, strategies and methodologies in a security-controlled environment.
Education
Clients can continually gain knowledge and also earn continuing education (CE) credit by accessing online training through Broadlane University on OnRamp.
