The Magnalight HAL-24-2L-LED hazardous area LED light fixture is a Class 1 Division 2 approved LED light that's been designed to replace traditional explosion proof fluorescent fixtures with higher performing LED lamps. Carrying a T4 temperature rating, this hazardous location light fixture is equipped with two high powered and efficient 15 watt LED tube lamps. Designed to replace normal fluorescent tubes, these LED tube lamps produce 15% more light using less power than fluorescents and offer a 50,000 hour plus operational life that far surpasses that of most fluorescent lamps. There is no ballast used in this fixture which removes the possibility of downtime from ballast failures and further reduces the maintenance costs associated with this unit. Constructed of copper free aluminum, this fixture is built to last with a heavy gauge, corrosion resistant reflector with high gloss reflective finish and a hinged glass door that is locked into place with four turn latches for secure sealing and easy servicing. The LED design of this lamp allows the fixture to be operated with a variety of voltages ranging from 110 to 277 AC with 12 or 24 VDC versions also available for low voltage applications. Well suited for locations where flammable chemicals and vapors may be present, the HAL-24-2L-LED is U.L. approved Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D as well as U.L. 595 Outdoor Marine Type and UL 1598A Marine Type and is an excellent lighting solution for those working on oil rigs or in the Petrochemical industries.
