In addition to ballistic protection against most ammunition at point-blank range, Defender Series eliminates threats from stabs and punctures. Impacts from bats, clubs, and sticks are dispersed over wide area, mitigating effects of blunt force trauma. Armor is also impervious to perspiration, oil, water, heat, and humidity. Featuring multi-layer composite material, vests provide 224 sq-in. of protection and meet NIJ Class I/Class II, Class IIIa, and Class IV specifications.

Englewood, OH - New Defender series hard body armor from Composite Armor Services is fully encapsulated so it is impervious to perspiration, oil, water, heat, humidity and other environmental factors. It is fully warranted for 25-years - the longest warranty of any armor on the market. In addition to ballistic protection against most ammunition at point-blank (15-foot) range, stab and puncture threats are also eliminated. Impact from strikes by bats, clubs and sticks is dispersed over a wider area, mitigating the effects of blunt force trauma. Defender Series body armor is ideal for police departments, SWAT teams, prison guards, security details, peace officers, riot squads, diplomats, politicos, and more.
The Defender Series vests include multi-layer composite material to meet NIJ Class I/Class II, Class IIIa, and Class IV specifications. Manufactured from readily available materials - contains no KevlarŪ. Defender series ballistic vests provide 224 square inches of protection - 6-times more coverage than comparable soft armor models. Panels are fully serviceable even after repeated incidents. They absorb the impact without ricochets.
Independent protective plates can be removed to allow laundering or replacement of the carrier vest. Comfortable carrier vests are made to military dimensional specifications.
