Hand held radiation meters lets user know if they are exposed to harmful radiation. The DX-1 and DX-2 line of affordable hand-held portable radiation meters are small enough to go anywhere, yet sensitive enough to detect minuscule amounts of gamma, beta or X-rays including the types released by nuclear power plants such as iodide and cesium.
