Smarter digital water testing incorporating a smartphone

The new eXact® iDip™ by Industrial Test Systems, Inc. (ITS) is the first product in the recreational water testing market to provide complete wireless connectivity between the iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod Touch® and a handheld photometer. Data is seamlessly transferred between the two devices when paired with the eXact® iDip™ using Bluetooth® Smart wireless technology.

The application stores the test results history of multiple pool, spa and water sources. Test data can be shared via email and the built-in GPS feature allows for easy retrieval of water locations. Customize the app and download only the tests you need. Pool technicians will appreciate the ability to store customer data, eliminating repetitive data entry tasks while saving time and money.

The new eXact® iDip™ handheld photometer uses the patented iDIP4 Reagent Delivery Method, a quick yet safe and easy procedure for analysis. Simply select your test then push a button and dip an eXact® reagent strip into the built in 4 ml water sample cell for 20 seconds using a gentle back and forth motion. Discard the strip and read your results!  Our methodology uses fewer steps which limits source of errors in results. The iDip4 provides smooth, precise reagent dispersion into samples without leaving suspended solids in the sample vial that can adversely affect results, especially when testing cold water.
