Toronto, Canada - GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has rolled out a handheld optic power meter (GAO08113) which is used for absolute optic power and relative loss measurements of fiber optics. This power meter is an essential solution utilized in telecom and CATV maintenance as well as fiber optics test labs.
This multi-functional power meter features a wide range of power measurements, highly accurate tests and an automatic calibration function. It displays optic power in mw, dB and dBm on its large, high resolution LCD screen. This easy-to-use power meter has a rugged design, is light weight and easy to carry and is resistant to dust and water which makes it suitable for field use. The meter consumes little power due to its auto-off function and supports more than 240 hours continuous operation using three 1.5V batteries.
