Designed as a convenient hand-held wireless device, PassagePoint Mobile's powerful feature set allows security staff to complete the identification, authentication and badging process in a single step, prior to an individual entering the facility.

Based on a Symbol hardware platform running Windows Mobile OS®, the PassagePoint mobile device is ruggedized and can be used in every kind of weather. Integrated with the device are a barcode scanner and a magnetic swipe reader for quick capture of driver licenses and other identification information. Data is then dynamically uploaded via an 802.11 wireless connection to the PassagePoint Server and badges can be printed locally on a Zebra wireless printer, utilizing Bluetooth technology. PassagePoint Mobile is compatible with PassagePoint EDU and PassagePoint Global v10.
