GE Lighting Introduces New 24 Volt Halogen Lamps

The 24 Volt System Improves Performance, Increases Reliability, and Reduces Installation Costs

Providing customers with more complete lighting options, GE Lighting has introduced a new 24 Volt family of Halogen lamps. A 24 Volt system offers lower installed costs, improved system performance and increased reliability by combining new technologically-advanced fixtures, such as Cooper Lighting's Linea line with GE Lighting's industry leading 24 Volt lamp options, including ConstantColor® Precise(TM) MR16.

Ideal for a variety of applications, including displays, wall washes, undercabinet lighting, strip lighting and task lighting, the 24 Volt Lighting System accepts high wattage loads, allowing for significantly longer length systems with a greater number of lampholders. In addition, 24 Volt systems reduce the effects of voltage drop caused by line losses, ensuring more uniform color temperature and lumen output.

Built to operate with GE Lighting's ConstantColor® Precise(TM) MR16, the system provides customers with a consistently, bright white light over lamp life and superior optics - with precise, sharper and more accurate and defined beam control. The long life, compact 24 Volt lamp is energy-efficient and offers a thicker, more rugged lamp filament to reduce lamp failures due to shock and vibration. GE Lighting offers a complete line of 24 Volt lamp solutions, including 35W and 50W ConstantColor Precise MR16's, 35W Precise MR11's, 20W G4Quartz Bipin Capsules and 5W and 10W Wedge Based Miniature Lamps.
