Weighing less than 250 g, U5413-L delivers 1,800 W of power, has rated life of 1,000 hr. Model U5413-P weighs 250 g and provides 20% more air power and 20% longer operating life, while 2,200 W-rated U5615 has 1,500 hr operating life. Also available, QC381 DC motor has operating life of less than 1,000 hr and delivers less than 1,800 W from 100 g package.

Johnson Electric Launches Motors for Professional Hair Dryers


Product Range for High Power, Long Life and Light Weight

HONG KONG -- Johnson Electric today announced a complete range of hair dryer motors in the Salon-Power™ product line. The new motors are designed to deliver more power, longer life and lower weight.  The industry-leading performance of the Salon-Power™ range of motors is achieved through innovations in magnetic and mechanical design.

The new U5413-P motor provides 20 percent more air power and 20 percent longer operating life with higher power density.  The new U5413-L has the same power and life of current versions, but weighs 20 percent less. The U5615 delivers the longest operating life. The QC381 is the only DC motor providing professional performance levels in an ultra light weight package.
