New BAHCO Bi-Metal Hacksaw Blades With Ground Teeth Provide Smooth Performance and Aggressive Bite


Enhanced blade design allows users to easily sink hacksaw teeth into a variety of materials

SCRANTON, Pa., September 6, 2002- BAHCO North America, Inc has introduced a new family of BAHCO bi-metal hacksaw blades with ground teeth that are exclusively designed to help professional tool users and industry make fast, safe and accurate cuts. The BAHCO bi-metal hacksaw blades' new tooth design improves cutting performance through a positive rake angle and precision ground teeth.

Blades are available with different tooth sizes for specific sawing applications. Blades include 14- or 18-teeth per inch (TPI) for cutting through heavy metals such as aluminum or copper. Slicing through stainless steel or thinner metals can be accomplished using blades with 24- or 32-TPI. A full range of BAHCO bi-metal blades are available for any hacksaw application.

The new bi-metal blades are packaged in a variety of quantities in distinctive orange self-service or industrial packaging. The self service packaging holds quantities of two, three, five, 10 or 100 blades. All BAHCO self-service packaging clearly displays the hacksaw blades along with pictograms that show user information. The self- service, 100-blade dispenser can be mounted on walls and holds blades with individual bar codes. BAHCO hacksaw blades for industrial use are available in quantities of 100 and packaged in re-usable plastic boxes.
