Bosch Rexroth Introduces WinHMI and IndraView Industrial PC Generation
WinHMI’s integrated tools, like configurable plant overviews, diagnostics and maintenance displays, form the basis for simple, clear operation of the platform, while the new IndraView industrial PC line extends the wide range of servo drives, frequency converter drives and industry-specific controls available to Rexroth customers.
WinHMI from Bosch Rexroth’s Electric Drives and Controls division is setting the standard for high-volume production and simple, clear operation. Integrated standard functions reduce engineering costs and contribute to cost-effective plant planning. Standard functions include Top Ten Fault analysis and Production Statistics.
WinHMI incorporates HTML, PDF, ActiveX or VB scripts so manufacturer-specific displays can be easily integrated. The integration of machine manuals, documentation, extended diagnostics and intranet and Internet interface offer additional advantages to packaging applications. Users can monitor machine operation using a standard web browser, and machine faults are easily routable to Email or cell phone text messaging.
IndraView Industrial PC Generation
The new Rexroth industrial PC generation consists of the IndraView 16 (12-inch display) and IndraView 40 (15-inch display), featuring advanced Intel Pentium processors. These units are available with integrated keyboards or touch screens. Designed to work with the System200, the new HMI units feature an integral uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a shock-mounted hard drive and rugged construction. In the event of a power failure, the UPS stores the I/O states and ensures a safe shutdown for the computer.
The System200 comprises a complete modular system of drive and control components that use universal, open standards. These components combine to provide industry-specific system solutions, including printing and paper converting machines and packaging and food processing machines. Complete system solutions are used in more than 1,000 printing machines and in several thousand packaging machines.
