New Dry, 100 °C HID Lighting Capacitors


New Bedford, MA (March 31, 2008) - Cornell Dubilier announces a new series of HID lighting capacitors in a dry construction. Type DL capacitors are rated for 60,000 hr life at 100 °C and are targeted for application in high intensity discharge lighting fixtures.

Type DL capacitors are packaged in cylindrical plastic cases ranging from 30 mm to 50 mm in diameter and 55 mm to 117 mm in length. Catalogued capacitance values range from 5 µF to 75 µF with a voltage range from 120 to 400 Vac, typical of HID lighting industry requirements.
