Featuring 10-bit resolution, unit is capable of 1.485 Gbps, 1.4835 Gbps, and 270 Mbps bit rates and supports output resolutions from 525 @ 60 Hz to 1,080P @ 30 Hz.

Atlona Technologies Soon Releases HDSDI Signal Generator for Professional Broadcast, the AT-HDSDI500


Atlona Technologies' has announced its plans to release a signal generator designed to test Audio Video systems using SDI or HDSDI formats. Atlona has spared no expense with the AT-HDSDI500 signal generator; packed with a variety of features such as still and motion video test patterns, closed captioning test sets (CC) (EIA-608), and the ability to test Vertical Ancillary Data Space (VANC SMPTE-334M). The HDSDI500 allows broadcast professionals an affordable solution to test existing SDI infrastructures as well as compatibility when adding components, cameras, and cabling.

The HDSDI500 supports a wide variety of output resolutions ranging from 525 at 60 Hz to 1080P at 30 Hz with 18 other options in between. This unit boasts 10 bit resolution and is capable of 1.485 Gbps, 1.4835 Gbps, and 270 Mbps bit rates. "This device's features make it essential for any broadcast professional using HD or SD SDI signal formats." Users will find the unit easy to operate due to its simple to navigate LCM and panel buttons. The unit also features dual SDI outputs allowing the simultaneous testing of multiple signal pathways.

The HDSDI500 will be officially released on June 17th at the InfoComm Expo 09 in Orlando, FL with an MSRP of $1299.00
