January 24, 2012 - Offering 1280 x 1024 HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 380 cd/m² brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio, 17 in. PL1730A and 19 in. PL1930A bring clarity, depth, and color purity to video surveillance images. Design is meant to occupy minimal desk space and can also be wall- or rack-mounted using standard VESA 100 mounts. Connectivity is fostered via inclusion of DVI-D input, BNC video interface, analog RGB (D-sub 15) input, and audio I/O.

Toshiba Introduces High-Definition LCD Monitors for Professional Video Surveillance


New 17- and 19-inch LCD monitors offer superb color definition and image sharpness, equipped with host of input options

IRVINE, CA -- Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today expanded its network-centric line of IP video surveillane products to include a new line of high-definition LCD monitors that bring stunning clarity, depth and color purity to video surveillance images.

Available in 19-inch (PL1930A) and 17-inch (PL1730A) models, the monitors address an increasingly critical need for imaging excellence in video security applications, especially those deploying megapixel IP cameras. Both of the ultra-thin LCDs take up minimal desk space, plus can be wall- or rack-mounted using standard VESA 100 mounts, helping to maximize productivity within the control room.

The monitors combine a stylish design with optimized features, including 1280 x 1024 HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 380cd/m2 brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Both the 17-inch and 19-inch monitors are designed to match the connectivity requirements of professional standards by offering DVI-D input, BNC video interface, analog RGB (D-sub 15) input and audio in/out.
