CAMDEN, SOUTH CAROLINA (November 1. 2001) - The new Tube Sheet Proâ„¢, from Cogsdill Tool Products Inc. is specially designed for grooving tube sheets in heat exchangers, condensers, and boilers with maximum productivity and professional results. Designed for the industry-standard double-groove configuration, the tool is available from stock for four standard tube diameters: 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, and 1 inch.
Smooth operation allows accurate groove size and location, with good finishes. The tool is easy to adjust for accuracy from the very first cut. Set-up instructions are marked on the adjusting collar for handy reference - no measurements are required. Cutters are easily replaced, with no disassembly required.
The tool has a short tool stroke. With no exposed mechanism: chip packing or "sticking" is eliminated. High-speed steel blades are TiN-coated for maximum cutter life. Interchangeable pilots allow easy diameter changes. Optional overtravel units are available for use in CNC machines or when tube sheets are warped.
