Main table movement is provided by SKF satellite roller screws, and digital brushless servo motors provide consistent and accurate movement. Also, MSA 670 Series linear encoders provide feedback to Siemens 810 digital CNC control with positional accuracy of .0001 in.

Normac's CBN46 Automatic Grinding Wheel Profiling Center
Now there is a grinder/profiler for accurately finishing "Positive Plated" diamond and CBN grinding wheels.
Manufacturers of high precision "Positive Plated" grinding wheels can now grind the wheel core profile, condition or dress the plated layer for accuracy, and cut a test piece coupon all on the same machine.

Super precision preloaded anti-friction linear way bearings.
Main table movement provided by an SKF super precision satellite roller screws.
Digital brushless servo motors provide consistent and accurate movement.
MSA 670 Series linear encoders provide feedback to the Siemens 810 digital CNC control
with positional accuracy of .0001" (.0025 mm).
Continuous lubrication is provided to all components.
All mechanical seals are air-purged for long life.
