Designed for continuous operation, Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) performs efficient fine grinding and classification of soft to medium-hard materials. It is based on combination of TC/ALPHA classifiers and 2- or 3-roller mill body that can work with standard gear boxes. Due to integrated bearing system of roller table, mill does not need any reinforcement on gearbox itself and requires minimal maintenance.

Florence, KY (September 2008) Sweco, A Business Unit of M-I L.L.C., announces the VRM as the latest in revolutionary roller mills designed by Ecutec and now marketed by Sweco as a result of the recent acquisition of Ecutec S.L. headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. It represents a significant step forward in the quest for more efficient fine grinding of soft to medium-hard materials.
Designed for continuous operation, the basic concept of the VRM is based on the combination of a high quality mill body and the highly efficient TC and ALPHA classifiers. The mill body is designed with 2 or 3 rollers and can work with standard gear boxes. Due to an innovative and integrated bearing system of the roller table, this mill does not need any reinforcement on the gearbox itself, reducing delivery time and minimizing maintenance.
