The Full Hydrostatic Tool Grinding Center "GrindSmart 6000XL" Debut
Introducing the world's first and only fully hydrostatic grinding machine. Hydrostatic functions allow friction-free linear and rotary movements for all 6 axes, including grinding spindle, to enhance the accuracy, speed, rigidity and perpetual repeatability of the machine in production.

The GrindSmart 6000XL is a fully automated CNC Super-Precision Grinding Center with 6 Hydrostatic machine axis and 3 axis for the integrated robot load/unload station. Designed for the complete manufacture of a small to a large diameter carbide and HSS cutting tools in one clamping in the range of (diameter)3.0 mm (.11") to (diameter)32.0 mm (1.250").
High speed robot loader (65 m/min: load/unload in less than 10 seconds) together with Rollomatic cassettes allows unattended production of up to 1000 tools. Tools up to 300 mm (12") overall length can be loaded automatically.
The axis configuration is similar to the GrindSmart CNC600X and the CNC620XS, giving complete compatibility to use the VirtualGrind and 3Dcalc software.
This new model still includes the well proven high precision carbide V-block system and the hydraulic steady rest which have been enlarged for this model, to provide optimum concentricity for both endmills and drills, even under heavy stock removal.
The GrindSmart6000XL is equipped with a wheel dressing system for wheel cleaning or dressing, which enhances the automated, unmanned and reliable process of manufacturing cutting tools.
Due to quick set-up procedures and excellent software support, the machine is equally capable of producing single tools, specials and small batches.
