Fixed focus CW diode pumped laser diode modules 2501 and 2503 feature respective beam divergence values of less than 1.2 and .8 mrad. Both require 3 Vdc with operating current around 300 mA. Model 2501 features 11 mm dia x 37.39 mm long laser housing designed with threads to facilitate add-on of additional optics. Laser housing for model 2503 measures 12 mm dia x 47.4 mm. Applications include spectroscopy, positioning, flow visualization, and holography.

NEW Low Cost Line of Green Laser Diode Modules
BEA Lasers, Inc., Elk Grove Village, IL announces the introduction of a new line of low cost long life green laser diode modules with pricing as low as $89.95 ea., setting a new industry standard for product life at this pricing level.
BEA's new line of green Laser diode modules are ideal for spectroscopy, particle measurement, medical tissue analysis, interferometry, holography, robotic control and flow visualization, as well as many of the usual positioning
capabilities.
The model 2501 is a fixed focus CW diode pumped laser diode module with a beam divergence of <1.2mrad. The laser housing measures 11mm diameter and the length is 37.39mm; the front of the module has been designed with threads so additional optics can be easily added.
Also available is the model 2503 as a fixed focus CW diode pumped laser diode module with a beam divergence of <.8mrad. This laser housing measures 12mm diameter with a length of 47.4mm.
Both modules require 3Vdc with operating current around 300mA. The MTTF is calculated to be >3000 hours. Optical output for class II or IIIa set at factory.
