Press Release Summary:

September 15, 2010 - Offered in 30, 60 and 90 gpm flow rate capacities and 4 tank sizes, Gravity Roll Media Filters use deep filter cakes for optimal performance in grinding and metal cutting machining operations where very fine chips are generated. Seal wheel provides positive seal of filter media, ensuring no fine particulate migrates around paper and into clean tank. To meet different coolant volume capacity requirements, 60 and 90 gpm filters can be mounted interchangeably on any of 3 tank sizes.

IMTS 2010 Press Release for Gravity Roll Media Filter

Press release date: September 9, 2010

Jorgensen Conveyors will introduce its new line of standard Gravity Roll Media filters at IMTS with the display of its 30 gallon per minute unit. IMTS will run at Chicago's McCormick Place on September 13th - 18th. The unit will be presented as a complete system including a clean coolant tank and coolant supply pump.

"We now offer the gravity roll media filter line with standard filter sizes of 30, 60 and 90 gallons per minute flow rate capacity, along with standard tanks in four different sizes." "The 60 and 90 gallon per minute filters can be mounted interchangeably on any of three tank sizes for different coolant volume capacity requirements," says John D'Amico, Co-Principal / Director of Sales & Marketing for Jorgensen. "These filters use deep filter cakes for efficient filtration performance in grinding and metal cutting machining operations where there is a high percentage of very fine chips generated in the process," says D'Amico.

"Our line of gravity roll media filters incorporates a "seal wheel" to provide a positive seal of the filter media to assure no fine particulate can migrate around the paper into the clean tank." These filters can be used for primary or secondary filtration and can be integrated with other conveyors in systems. A standard control package is optional.

According to D'Amico, no other supplier of chip conveyors and coolant filtration systems offers a broader range of engineered product solutions for the wide variety of CNC metal cutting machine tool applications seen in today's market place.
