GORE-TEX® Gloves with X-TRAFIT(TM) Product Technology are made with a patented construction technique where the liner and insert are permanently bonded together, also utilizing Gore's grip tape on the inside of the shell of the glove which prevents any movement between the layers under pressure. The outcome is a great fitting, waterproof and breathable glove with optimum grip, dexterity and comfort. "Manual grip and dexterity play key roles in providing the assurance that enthusiasts need when tackling a number of snowsports," said Brian Gallagher, Gore marketing strategist. "Our engineers have addressed this critical need with the development of X-TRAFIT(TM) Product Technology in response to requests for an uninsulated glove that is truly waterproof and breathable and fits like it's one layer. Snowsports devotees will appreciate this next generation of high tactility, durability and control. This is all about giving the winter consumer or athlete the tools they need to pursue their passions with confidence. Whether it's for a day of pipe riding or taking that next turn in the woods, we feel certain that our technology will make a positive difference in their experience."

Waterproof, windproof and highly breathable, GORE-TEX Gloves with X-TRAFIT(TM) Product Technology are soft and flexible enough to also offer high dexterity for normal wear.
"Marmot's Alpinist Glove with X-TRAFIT Product Technology will appeal to a number of our consumers who need a glove that won't let them down in extreme situations," said Jordan Campbell, Marmot's public relations manager.
