Intelligent Decentral Drive Solutions with Infinite Variable Speed Control Save Time, Space and Money

SOMERSET, NJ -- Danfoss Bauer introduces Eta Solution Series K geared motors - a combination of spur-geared, flat-geared, bevel-geared and worm-geared motors with an integrated frequency converter mounted directly to the motor. Motors are available from 0.25HP to 10HP (0.12 to 7.5 kW) for supply voltage 3 x 380-480 VAC.

These intelligent, dust tight, and hose proof compact drives are ideally suited to the operating conditions and requirements
of process engineering applications in the automotive production, material handling, and food and beverage industries.
Control is provided by digital and analog inputs and outputs via a PC or fieldbus system. The Eta Series K requires no shielded motor cables and is compliant to all EMC standards.

Decentralized motion control meets the ever-growing demands for maximum installation flexibility, and reduced lead-time
and commissioning of industrial machinery. Decentralization lowers installation costs, makes cabinet space requirements
nearly obsolete, and significantly reduces cabling expenses. It also facilitates quick and easy service, retrofitting and
upgrading. Additional features include improved utilization of narrow space and easy reconfiguration of production flow.

Since 1927 Danfoss Bauer has been a leadiiig North American manufacturer of quality gearmotor products. In 1999 they
joined forces with Danfoss Drives to develop class-defining power transmission solutions. Danfoss Drives created the
VLT® name when they introduced the world's first mass-produced Adjustable Frequency Drive in 1968, and the name has set the standard for quality adjustable frequency drives ever since.
