December 23, 2002 - UL-listed, Type B connection system attaches directly to appliance draft hood. New Flexible Type B Gas Vent Connection System Attaches Quickly and Saves Labor Costs

HOLLAND, MI-Hart & Cooley introduces a new flexible Type B gas vent connection system that saves time by eliminating the inconvenience of returning to a job site to connect appliances after they are delivered.

With Hart & Cooley's new flexible Type B gas vent connection system, installers can handle the job themselves in minutes. It covers all the angles and is ideal for tight or odd-shaped spaces. This new gas vent connection system is UL listed for single- and double-wall applications, and allows for quick, easy connection to single or multiple units.

Featuring a factory-installed connector that attaches directly to the appliance draft hood, the flexible connector is available in a single-wall gas vent connector model or as a double-wall gas vent segment model for unconditioned spaces. Installation is easy. It compresses, if needed, to fit the space-no need for cutting to size. Simply snap the connector or segment into place with Hart & Cooley's patented locking-ring system.
