May 3, 2002 - Supplied with black composite end fittings with nitride-coated retaining clips, NITRIDER(TM) gas springs have black nitride-coated shaft and black tube. Completely sealed springs have surpassed 200-hour salt spray test. They are available with 6, 8, and 10 mm rod diameters and 15, 18, and 22 mm tube diameters. Lengths vary from 5.5 in. compressed (7.5 in. extended) to 16.5 in. compressed (28.0 in. extended). P1 forces range from 20 to 250 pounds.

Bristol, PA - The new NITRIDER(TM) black nitride coated gas spring from SERVICE PLUS DISTRIBUTORS, INC. (SPD) offers corrosion resistance in a wide variety of sizes, stroke lengths and P1 forces. The gas springs, supplied with black composite end fittings with nitride-coated retaining clips, feature a black nitride-coated shaft and black tube for an attractive, all black appearance. The gas springs are completely sealed and have surpassed a 200-hour salt spray test.
The gas springs are available with 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm rod diameters; 15 mm, 18 mm and 22 mm tube diameters; in lengths from 5.5" compressed (7.5" extended) to 16.5" compressed (28.0" extended); and in P1 forces from 20 to 250 pounds. Custom sizes are also available. Additional end fittings, mounting hardware and options are available as well.
