Newest T3 Gas Spring Offers Full Stroke Force to Almost 75,000 LBS


Brecksville, OH-Hyson Products, a business of Barnes Group Inc., introduces the newest model in its T3 Series of gas springs, the T3-20000, with a contact force of 45000 lbs. and full stroke force reaching nearly 75000 lbs.

There are twelve models in this series that offers the highest forces in small spaces to reduce cost per ton as much as 60%. Sizes range from the T3-170 with a 3/4-inch diameter and contact force of 380 lbs. to the T3-20000 with an almost 8-inch diameter and contact force of 45000 lbs. Like all T3 models, the T3-20000 features a side port for charging that can also be used to connect to a hosed system as well as a patented safety guide and rod. Upper and lower grooves along the cylinder body and four M12 threaded holes accommodate a variety of mounts.
