Wireless Gas Leak Detection Sensors

Tektroniks have just launched Wireless Gas Leak Detection Sensors to compliment their Wireless DATAcentre Monitoring System and their SAMie Control & Monitoring System.

The launch of Tektroniks Wireless Gas Leak Detection strengthens further the core range of Tektroniks monitoring systems abilities. With Wireless temperature, humidity, energy & utilities sensors already available Wireless Gas Leak Detection was the next obvious choice.

Tektroniks teamed up with Murco, the renowned Irish gas sensor manufacture to ensure that the finished Tektroniks Wireless Gas Leak Detection Sensors would be of the quality and have the robustness in its design to meet Tektroniks customer needs.
The finished result is a Wireless Gas Leak Detection system that offers a full range of gases that can be monitored, with Refrigerant, Ammonia, Toxic and Combustible Wireless Gas Sensor available from launch.

The added benefit of the Tektroniks Wireless Gas Leak Detection Sensors is that not only does the system alarm through the base station, but it will also alarm at the actual sensor point. This remote alarming greatly reduces the risk of an employee or customer entering an area where a gas leak is detected.

John Dyer, Tektroniks Business Development Manager commented "A number of our customers currently have separate monitoring systems in place for their refrigerant plant, by launching our Wireless Gas Leak Detection Sensors we are giving customers the ability to be able to bring all of their monitoring and alarm functions into one point. With ever increasing legislation and with the risk to life caused by some of the gases used it is understandable that all gas users are ensuring they have robust procedures and monitoring in place. We see the ability to add this into our monitoring systems a real benefit to our existing customer base, it also means that potential new customers do not need separate monitoring systems for their businesses".

John commented further "Murco were the obvious choice for us to team up with, their reputation in and their knowledge of gas sensor technologies made the development of our Wireless Gas Leak Detection sensors possible. We would like to thank Murco for their support during the development of our Wireless Gas Leak Detection Sensors and look forward to working with them in the future".
