Available in 3 models, BalstonŽ FID-3500 Gas Stations will produce up to 3.5 lpm of hydrocarbon-free air from existing compressed air supply and 500 cc/min of fuel-grade hydrogen from deionized water. Units include ergonomic cabinet, visual operational status display, automatic water filling for continuous operation, and closed-loop water management system. With generators, cylinder gas users can supply, control, and automate their gas supplies.

Parker Hannifin extends product range and launches new BalstonŽ FID-3500 Gas Station featuring increased zero air and hydrogen gas output.
Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has introduced the BalstonŽ FID-3500 Gas Station featuring increased zero air and hydrogen gas output. This system will eliminate expensive, dangerous cylinders of zero grade air and hydrogen gas used to supply chromatography equipment.
Three models of the FID Gas Station are now available to choose from. These systems will produce up to 3.5 lpm of hydrocarbon-free air from an existing compressed air supply and 500 cc/min of fuel-grade hydrogen from deionized water.
Special features include high-tech ergonomic cabinet design, state-of-the-art catalysis module, visual operational status display, exceptional gas purity, automatic water filling for continuous operation and closed loop water management system which monitors incoming deionized water quality.
These generators will allow cylinder gas users to supply, control, and automate their gas supplies. Equipment sensitivity is significantly enhanced as zero air purity exceeds cylinder gas quality as hydrocarbon content is less than 0.05 ppm (50 ppb) and is measured as methane. A single FID Gas Station, FID-3500 can support 10 to 11 GC-FIDs at once.
Additional applications included Thermonic, Pulsed Flame Detectors and Hydrogenation reactors.
